"The Fool" Fine Art Print
Giclee´ Print of 2025 piece “The Fool”
“The Fool” represents beginnings, innocence, spontaneity, and a free spirit. This piece is part of the Major Arcana in my new Tarot series which will be made into a real Tarot deck once completed.
‘’The Fool" explores the paradox at the heart of the fool archetype: that true wisdom often begins in not-knowing. Drawing on this figure's long history in tarot and folklore, the wanderer who steps toward the cliff's edge without fear. The piece reflects on the courage required to begin again, to act without guarantee of outcome, and to trust the unknown rather than control it.
At its center is an idea about beginnings: that every meaningful risk requires a willingness to look foolish, to fail visibly, to be unguarded in a world that rewards certainty. The fool is not naive but liberated, unburdened by the accumulated caution that experience often teaches, and therefore free to see possibility where others see only danger.
The piece invites viewers to consider their own relationship to risk and reinvention, the moments they chose safety over adventure, or the rare times they leapt anyway. It celebrates spontaneity not as recklessness but as a form of trust: trust in one's own resilience, in the process of becoming, and in the idea that not every step forward needs to be fully understood before it's taken.
Ultimately, "The Fool" is a tribute to the beginner's mind, to curiosity over expertise, movement over paralysis, and the quiet bravery it takes to keep starting over.
